4 Reasons for taking action now

1. 1.Businesses must install in 2010 to take advantage of the Federal Grant in lieu of a tax credit program.  After 2010, you will only be eligible for tax credits.
   

2. 2.The ohio solar incentives have come and gone over the years.  If you don’t get your application in soon, the ODOD can not guaranty that the funds will remain available for your project.
   

3. 3.The grant application process takes time, maybe 120 days from the time that you say go to the time that installation actually begins.  System owners want their systems running in the summer months to maximize annual output.
   

4. 4.system owners planning to sell SRECs to help recoup their investment lose about $300 per 1,000 KWH.  A system that will produce 65MWH annually will produce about 30% of its electricity in June and July.  If delay causes a system owner to lose those months of production, the system loses more than $7,000 in production.
